Letters To Your Soul

Letters To Your Soul is a mental health and wellbeing toolkit that does not exist anywhere else, yet it is filled with the knowledge and guidance that every human being should have.

It is a twelve-month journey that gives you everything you need to be able to understand and normalise your mind and your life challenges, to make lasting life changes, and improve the way that you think, feel and make choices that improve the quality of your overall life.

The structure and content of the entire programme and each letter is based on Twelve Steps to Your Soul, a purposefully crafted step by step model that builds a foundation for good mental health, self-awareness, and reshapes your thinking habits, which in turn aids you to reshape your belief system and prioritise your needs.

Each letter comes with unique skills and tools that have been created with this model and includes a full toolkit hat you can keep and use throughout your life.

About the Creator

I’m Hollie, creator and author of Letters to Your Soul. I am so happy that you have made it here and that I can share with you the things that can bring you true transformation!

I am a registered mental health social worker and just like you a human being who too ebbs and flows with the challenges of the mind and of life.

I have worked within mental health services for a long time and have always been passionate about human suffering and how I can help to alleviate that suffering.

So that you can trust my voice I want to tell you that my passion did not start from my work. It began when I was a child watching someone I loved struggling and suffering with significant mental health challenges. I learned that the system could sometimes listen and help, and I learned that sometimes it did not, and as I grew older I knew from somewhere deep within that I had to create new and better ways to help.

I started sharing my voice outside of my work in the NHS when I began my podcast, The Book of Wellbeing, in 2021 (see the link on the podcast tab on the home page). This was based on a book that I had started to write but hadn’t finished. At the time the pandemic rose, and I felt the need to share that content quickly. I knew that people needed something accessible and in a different way. Then the idea of Letters to Your Soul tiptoed into my mind a year later and here we are! I have since carefully and lovingly crafted every word and skill for you, knowing that you need a new way of accessing the information you need, when you need it, and in a way that works.

Throughout the journey of helping people from all walks of life I have always innately observed pain and suffering, making links with themes across the human race and looking for what is missing; what do we really need to know to make things better throughout this rocky road of a journey called life.

Because of this I want you to know that the foundation of Letters to Your Soul has been created through the twelve steps, because I have applied this structure that I built myself to many people suffering and have watched it work.

It is like going back to basics with an expanded view of the basics that no one ever told us, which is what the world of mental health and systems often forget worldwide. We all just need to know that we are human and that there is nothing wrong with us and who we are, when our shadows come lingering to the surface. We don’t need labels and tablets thrown at us and that be that. We need to understand the mechanisms behind our experiences through emotional turmoil. We need to know that there is no human on the planet exempt from these mechanisms and that label or no label we are all made with the same.

Other things about me: I love to write, especially when I write about the things I want to teach people. I too have habits that I know I should change but sometimes don’t. People have told me that they would presume that I have everything in order in my life, however this is very untrue. I am quite unorganised and scatty at times, and I can be very avoidant with the world. I meditate and not always with my legs crossed. Not because my mind can easily be at peace, but because of the opposite.

There have been times in my life when I have fallen to the floor, when I have felt so consumed by pain and alone with it. And there have been other times when I have picked myself up and started again.

I feel your pain, and I want to help. Letters To Your Soul is my way of doing this. Truly from the bottom of my heart, I hope it brings you validation for your growing pains and healing so that you can see and feel your own light.

Our Mission

Our mission is to give you the knowledge and tools to be able to understand, manage and improve your mental health, wellbeing and whole life. To help you to understand that how you think and feel is because you are human. And to be a soul in a human life is a complex thing when it comes to the inner layers of our mind.

Accessing support for mental health and emotionally difficult times can be both daunting and difficult. Daunting because it is hard for us to say: ‘I am struggling’ and even harder for us to say: ‘I need some help’. Difficult because getting access to that help can be challenging due to limits, pressures and access barriers in services across the globe, or rigid processes that mean that people fall through the net.

Letters to Your Soul is founded and built on wisdom and expertise that provides a creative and relatable way of people easily accessing the information and resources they need, at an affordable cost, that can be kept and used lifelong.
